Olivia is a great children's book character. She was making an appearance at the local Barnes and Noble, so I took the girls to meet her. They were THRILLED! We got there 1/2 hour early and expected the place to be jammed and we were... the only ones there. Well, the girls got the best seats for story time!
Brooke decided to take the stage and read to us while we waited. 
Olivia didn't say anything, but she was really nice and posed for pictures with everyone. Brooke was determined to touch Olivia. She was very giggly about the whole thing. Afterward, Brooke kept saying, "Olivia BBBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGG!!" with her arms flung out as far as they could go. It was a good time for everyone! And free!
Fifteen minutes later, everyone else got there at once. A lady read two Olivia stories and then...
Out came Olivia!!!! She was HUGE!!! You could see her ear tips above the shelves as she made her way thru the store. The kids were amazed (as well as the parents)! As she moved thru the group, the kids were all stepping back with their mouths hanging open.
